The complacent company is a dead company. Success today requires the
agility and drive to constantly rethink, reinvigorate, react, and reinvent.
The key to sustained services is to provide quality services to our clients. Our firm philosophy for providing quality services consists of three components; (1) Accuracy; (2) Timeliness; and (3) Efficiency.
Timeliness of accounting tasks and reports.
We understand the value in providing timely responses in this rapidly changing environment.Hence, we commit ourselves into performing your accounting requests and providing you with reports in a timely manner and even with short notice. Capacity for such rapid response is built into our company infrastructure. We have nearly fifty bilingual professionals (half of which have TOEIC scores above 900) that can respond promptly to your concerns.
Accuracy of financial reports and accounting functions.
OC & Associates prides itself on the quality of its financial reports and accounting work. All clients are introduced to a client service team consisting of a minimum of a partner, reviewer and in-charge. All in-charge personnel are experienced, full-time employees. All reports are submitted for a review before submission. Our firm is registered with the US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), a nonprofit corporation created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) of 2002, to oversee the auditors of public companies in order to protect the interest of investors and further the public interests in the preparation of informative, fair, and independent audit reports. Registration with the PCAOB requires our firm to establish and maintain high standards in auditing and related attestation, quality control, ethics, and independence. With the exception of the Big Four, we are one of a dozen firms that are registered with the PCAOB in Japan.
AEfficiency of our operation procedures added value and benefits to the client
We try to understand and perform only procedures the client expects from us and attempt to avoid performing work which may result in excessive billing. To prevent such occurences, we constantly train and monitor the work of our professionals so they do not perform activities outside of the expectations of our clients and hold the appropriate attitude toward professional services. We also employ technology to keep labor costs at a minimum.
For instance, we constantly search to eliminate redundancies in our own operations. We constantly monitor each professional’s workload through our internally developed web based software and notification systems. This minimizes any idle time from our professionals. We constantly strive to find the best working model which also means reduced fees and higher value. This also allows our clients to spend more time on more important tasks.
Every penny you save is a penny earned and every minute you can use for more important tasks is time better spent.
